Certified Kundalini Yoga & Vinyasa Teacher | Memphis, TN
I started practicing hatha yoga in the early 2000s because it brought me peace and better health. For almost 20 years I was happy just being a student — until I walked into my first full Kundalini Yoga sadhana at Delta Groove Yoga in Memphis in 2022. Something clicked. Hard.
In 2025 I completed Delta Groove’s Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training and earned my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification. The training rewired me on a cellular level and lit a fire to share this powerful, joyful practice with others.
Now I teach public Kundalini Yoga classes in Memphis and offer private and small-group sessions (both Kundalini and gentle vinyasa/meditation) so you can experience the same life-changing benefits I did.
My Why
How Kundalini Found Me (and Saved Me)
After two decades of yoga, I thought I knew what the practice could do. Then I showed up at 5:30 a.m. for a weekend sadhana at Delta Groove. I didn’t know a single chant, kriya, or mudra. It felt weird… and wonderful.
That first class came at the perfect storm: I was preparing to leave a 17-year career and walking (unbeknownst to me at the time) straight into menopause. Kundalini Yoga gave me tools to balance my hormones, love my changing body, release what no longer served me, and step into the unknown with courage and grace.
Teacher training in 2025 was the hardest thing I’ve ever chosen to do — and the best gift I’ve ever given myself.
Here’s what keeps me coming back (and what I want for you):
It’s ridiculously fun — I call it “preschool for grown-ups.” We sing mantras, dance, frolic like frogs, roll on the floor, and sometimes even have snack time!
It builds real community and deep connection — to yourself and others.
It works fast. Breath, movement, sound, and meditation wake up your energy and clear out the junk.
Kundalini Yoga feels like the big sigh of relief I’d been searching for my whole life.
My Approach
I’m your guide, not your guru.
Using Kundalini Yoga technology (kriyas, pranayama, mantra, meditation) plus gentle vinyasa flows and mindfulness, we ground into our bodies and the present moment. These ancient practices are magic for modern life — proven for thousands of years and still 100% relevant in 2025.
